You scrub up well

Hi all,

It’s been a busy week but I just had to do a post about this amazing new product I have found.

Now, I’m sure I’m not alone in this, but my lips have been drier than ever this year, and keep chapping and leaving dry skin on the surface. I heard about a new range of lip sugar scrubs that Lush have brought out, so I grabbed one for Β£5.25 and thought it had to be worth a shot.

Not only are they delicious (it’s all natural so you can lick the excess off after you’ve buffed your pout to perfection), they left my lips chap free and smooth, just make sure you apply a balm afterwards to hydrate.

I got the Mint choc flavour and it tastes exactly like After Eight mints! There is also bubblegum flavour and popcorn which both smelled amazing. I think larger stores stock more flavours but these are the only ones Ive come across.

So if you’re planning to prep your lips for upcoming valentines day, get down to lush and get one of these sweet scrubs and get ready to pucker up!

Night all

Well well well, would you “look” at that

Hello hello hello,

This is my first post of 2013 so I should take the chance to wish everyone a very happy New Year. I hope 2013 is unlucky for none, and that everyones hopes and dreams are fulfilled.

I haven’t been so great at posting lately, but one of my new year’s resolutions has to be to blog more, so what better way to start than to review a new line of makeup that I think everyone should try.

So, I would expect most girls have heard of Look magazine, right? Well if anyone has been into Superdrug stores lately you might have seen their latest beauty range. Strange as it seems, it is exactly what it says on the tin. A range of cosmetics by Look. I was a bit apprehensive at first, as I must admit things that aren’t under a recognised brand name do scare me just a tad. I spotted a nail colour called ‘Ribbon’ which looked like a gorgeous, spring blush pink, and a lipstick called ‘Toffeecup’. They were all on sale at prices between Β£2 and Β£5 so I gave them a try. I thought perhaps the nail polish would be sticky or chip quickly, but I was totally wrong. It applies really well and dries nicely, and I didn’t notice any chips for the 3 days I had it on for. The lipstick feels really nice on, and they come in such nice colours, so I would definitely recommend them!

So, next time you go past Superdrug, pop in and give these a try! I’m sure you’ll find something you love.

Until next time, all my love
